Hi, I’m Paul, yes, like the monkey at the end of Jimmy Neutron who proudly announces “Hi, I’m Paul!” and then vanishes into the ether. I am the human behind Streichanology — a title I made up because “Paul’s Website” sounded like a 2005 MySpace page and the domain is more than likely taken.

I’m a musician, songwriter, gear enthusiast, and someone who firmly believes a good chocolate chip cookie can heal the soul. I grew up in Central Oregon, where I learned three things: music is magic, nature is therapy, and acoustic guitars are louder than you think at 2am, sorry everyone in my house!

I spend my time making songs, videos and random creative experiments. When I’m not doing that, you can find me rock climbing, reading, practicando mi español or swiping through snare sounds in my DAW.
